Mackenzie Johnson attended California State University, Chico for her undergraduate degree, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations, a Bachelor of Arts in French, and a minor in Ethics, Justice, and Policy. While there, she achieved the Dean’s list academic award each semester and was a member of the International Foreign Language Honor Society. After that, Ms. Johnson graduated cum laude from Chapman University Dale E. Fowler School of Law earning her Juris Doctorate. In law school, she spent a summer abroad in Tel Aviv, Israel as an extern for the Rackman Center for the Advancement of the Status of Women. Ms. Johnson was also President of the Chapman Women's Lawyers Association, President of the International Law Society, and a member of her Student Bar Association.
Before becoming an attorney at the Cifarelli Law Firm, Ms. Johnson was a law clerk for two years throughout law school. During her extensive time as a law clerk, Ms. Johnson gained thorough experience in and knowledge of civil litigation and trials, law and motion practice, discovery methods, and negotiations and settlements. Ms. Johnson currently is a member of the Orange County Women's Lawyers Association.
